At New Beginnings,we're launching the Blue Bag Project to fill our Emergency Pantry with the support of Mark's Floors who generously sponsored the bags. New Beginnings and Groveland Forge Historic Partnership

A historic partnership between a local nonprofit and Groveland inaugurates a new chapter in affordable housing with a Community Land Trust, the first of its kind in Lake County. With the unveiling of this workforce single-family home project, residents and dignitaries celebrated a significant stride towards community resilience. Spearheaded by the respective leaders from the city of Groveland and the community, this collaborative effort underscores the city's commitment to addressing housing accessibility challenges and symbolizes hope for families in Groveland.

I Am Blessed!

I am fortunate to be living here at Woodwinds! I had a big challenging life downfall. I felt abandoned with my kids. We prayed and prayed. We thankfully found New Beginnings and Woodwinds. With all of the challenges, I found out that this is where we need to be. I love this place! I love the staff and support here. They all help me with resources and to help keep some money in my pockets. We all help each other out. God really gave us all a big blessing to be here. They offer us computer technology education, counseling, a food pantry, help with employment opportunities and family...
